Equipment structure

The roll-applied adhesive balloons are in form of continuous rolls. The length of single roll varies from several meters to hundreds of meters. They are mainly used in No-Residue Hot Melt Coaters and batch decoration projects, and can also be manually torn by end users as needed. The advantages of roll-packaged products are lower unit costs and better compatibility with automated production processes. Therefore, the structure of roll-packaged production equipment differs significantly from that of sheet-packaged equipment. It mainly consists of six modules: unwinding unit, coating unit, drying unit, compounding unit, cutting and forming unit, and winding unit. The functions and parameters of each module are as follows.

1. Unwinding and substrate bonding unit This unit is responsible for continuously and stably outputting the base material for making balloon adhesive dots from the roll, and completing the lamination of the upper and lower protective films during the process. It is equipped with an automatic tension control system to keep the base material flat during transmission, avoiding wrinkles or deviation that affect the forming quality of glue dots.

2. Coating unit As the core functional module of the whole machine, this unit is matched with the high-precision gear pump glue supply system and hot melt temperature control mechanism, which can output hot melt glue evenly according to the set dot spacing and size, forming regularly arranged dot-shaped glue spots on the exposed base material, ensuring that each glue dot has consistent glue volume and stable viscosity.

3. Cooling unit After the hot melt glue dots are coated, the base material enters this unit for rapid cooling and setting, so that the glue dots can quickly form a stable shape, avoid adhesion deformation caused by high temperature in the subsequent transmission process, and ensure that the glue dots have good removability and no residue after peeling.

4. Forming and cutting unit This unit cuts the continuously produced adhesive dot composite material according to the set width, trims the excess edge material, and completes the pre-slitting of the finished product roll, which lays a foundation for the subsequent finished product winding.

Automatic winding unit This unit is equipped with an automatic switching and material changing mechanism, which can complete the receiving and switching of finished rolls without stopping the machine, maintain the continuous high-speed operation of the whole production line, avoid the production stop caused by replacing finished rolls, effectively improve the overall production efficiency of the equipment, and finally output the finished roll-packed balloon adhesive dot products that meet the specifications.The Glue Dots Machine ensures continuous production and improves production efficiency.
